With its sumptuous palaces and hidden treasures, Andalusia is not just a destination to visit, but an experience to be savoured. Aboard the MS La Belle de Cadix , each port of call becomes an immersion in an exceptionally rich heritage, where the elegance of the Italian Renaissance meets the splendour of Mudejar art. This 8-day cruise takes you on a journey through the artistic and historical heart of Andalusia, designed for travellers who value culture and authenticity.
From Seville to Córdoba, via Cádiz, Jerez, and Granada, the itinerary reveals a series of outstanding sites. From the very first evening, an exclusive visit to the Alcázar of Seville immerses you in the world of Andalusian royal palaces. It is a true visual spectacle: lush gardens where orange trees, palm trees, and shimmering pools blend harmoniously; intimate courtyards adorned with colourful azulejos; and majestic halls where Mudejar art reaches its finest expression. This remarkable fusion of gardens, architecture, and artistry makes the Alcázar one of the most beautiful palaces in Europe.
The tour continues to Medina Azahara, an ancient Caliphate city listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The following days reveal further gems: the Seville Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece; the Palacio de las Dueñas, with its intimate courtyards; and the Casa de Pilatos, one of the city's most beautiful palaces, offering a perfect blend of Italian Renaissance and Mudejar art. In Cádiz and Jerez, Moorish architecture blends with the region's winemaking tradition, while a tasting at San Marcos Castle provides a moment of culinary delight in a remarkable historic setting.
For those wishing to extend the experience, the optional excursion to Granada offers the chance to discover the Alhambra, the absolute jewel of Moorish art. This palace-fortress, perched on a hill overlooking the city, reveals the Generalife gardens, courtyards adorned with fountains, and halls with intricate muqarnas ceilings, a dazzling testament to the grandeur of Al-Andalus.
This cruise also highlights the Fine Arts Museums of Cádiz and Seville, true treasure troves housing masterpieces by Spain's greatest painters. Collections of artworks, paintings, and rare objects come together to create a fascinating artistic panorama. An onboard lecture on Moorish art in Spain further enriches these discoveries, offering deeper insight into the richness of Andalusian heritage.
November is the ideal time to discover India in the best possible conditions. The Ganges, one of the country's seven sacred rivers, is the guiding thread of a transformative journey, blending deep spirituality with a millennia-old culture. This cruise offers an authentic immersion into the heart of a fascinating civilisation, where each stop reveals a new facet of timeless India.
For those wishing to extend the adventure, the Rajasthan extension provides a striking contrast. This "Land of Kings" unveils majestic palaces, impregnable fortresses, and vibrant pink and blue cities where the history of the maharajas is etched in stone. Jaipur, Agra and the Taj Mahal, and Fatehpur Sikri form a dazzling itinerary, an ideal complement to the spiritual dimension of the Ganges cruise.
Aboard a colonial-inspired vessel, featuring four-poster beds and refined décor, you will cruise in intimate comfort. This charming, small-scale ship sails through a region still largely untouched by tourism, authentic and unspoiled. Each moment becomes a discovery: riverside villages, hidden temples, encounters with local communities, and breathtaking landscapes where lush greenery meets desert horizons.
This month, we're shining a spotlight on the MS Mistral, a 4-anchor vessel sailing along the Rhône and Saône rivers. Built in 1999 and accommodating 152 passengers, the ship has just undergone a complete renovation this winter to offer an even higher level of comfort.
While the rivers rest, our teams are hard at work. Over the winter months, the MS Mistral has been given a fresh new look: new carpeting throughout, refreshed curtains, and repainting in both the common areas and cabins. Every detail has been carefully considered to ensure a ship that feels as good as new.
The 77 cabins now feature brighter tones of navy blue and gold, a subtle nod to the world of sailing. The restaurant on the upper deck has received particular attention, with new carpeting, modernised furnishings, and a refined ambiance enhanced by large floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of the passing landscapes. The lounge bar with dance floor has also been redesigned, creating a more contemporary and welcoming atmosphere.
With its newly renovated spaces, sun deck furnished with comfortable loungers, and spacious shaded area, the MS Mistral is ready to take you on a journey through the treasures of the Rhône and Saône: Lyon, Avignon, Arles, Tain-l'Hermitage, Provence, and the Camargue.
