Splendors of the Northern Adriatic Sea

Between crystal-clear seas and cities steeped in history, the Adriatic isn't something you simply describe, it's something you feel. Aboard the MV La Belle de l'Adriatique, each port of call becomes a true immersion in a world where time seems to stand still: white-stone alleyways, sea-facing fortresses, and villages that look like living paintings. For the second year, CroisiEurope unveils this exclusive itinerary, thoughtfully designed for seasoned and loyal travellers. It offers a fresh perspective on northern Croatia, perfectly complementing the iconic highlights of the south.

Here, every horizon reveals something unforgettable. And while this new route explores lesser-known gems, it still embraces the Adriatic's must-sees, from Dubrovnik, the "Pearl of the Adriatic", to the spectacular Bay of Kotor.

What you may not know about the Adriatic (but will love):

  • In Zadar, the sea becomes a musician. A unique Sea Organ transforms the movement of the waves into a haunting, ever-changing melody...no playlist required.
  • In Pula, a 2,000-year-old Roman amphitheatre still hosts concerts and cultural events.
  • In Rovinj, colourful houses appear to rise straight out of the water, a legacy of a time when every inch of land counted.
  • The Bay of Kotor? A "false fjord", shaped not by glaciers, but by an ancient river now submerged beneath the sea.

The result is a landscape that is as surprising as it is spectacular.

Celebrating 50 Years in Strasbourg, our birthplace

To mark CroisiEurope's 50th anniversary, Strasbourg, our birthplace, hosted a special celebration designed as an open and unifying event. The Cruise Festival transformed the city into a vibrant showcase of the CroisiEurope world, with talks, exhibitions, family-friendly activities, and itinerary presentations setting the tone for several days dedicated to discovery and shared experiences.

One of the highlights was our conference on the Amazon, offering an exclusive preview of this major new itinerary. For the occasion, tribal chiefs who had travelled especially from the Amazon were present, sharing their way of life, traditions, and culture through meaningful moments of exchange. A rare and authentic encounter, giving a glimpse of this exceptional cruise... even before it sets sail.

The celebrations continued with warm and convivial evenings under the big top, where guests enjoyed a festive atmosphere blending gastronomy and entertainment.

Among the key highlights, the anniversary gala evening offered a truly immersive experience. From the moment guests stepped on board, the tone was set with a welcome cocktail in the lounge bar, followed by a six-course gala dinner specially created for the occasion. The ship then sailed into the heart of Strasbourg, towards its historic harbour master's office, for a spectacular "50 Years of CroisiEurope" sound and light show.

Designed by Aquatique Show, this production combined choreographed fountains, lighting effects, lasers, and music to create a unique, immersive spectacle. The evening continued in a lively atmosphere on board, with the option to stay overnight and enjoy breakfast the following morning.

This milestone event in Strasbourg beautifully captured the spirit of our anniversary year: festive, elegant, and deeply rooted in our heritage. Thank you for being part of the CroisiEurope story, and we look forward to welcoming you on board soon for new journeys ahead.

Launching Ceremony for the MS R.E. Waydelich L.J. on the Seine

On Sunday, March 15, in Paris, we were delighted to celebrate the launching of the MS R.E. Waydelich L.J. on the Seine. Originally built in Saint-Nazaire as a paddlewheel vessel for the Elbe, the ship is now beginning a new chapter on the Seine. We were honoured to welcome Ms Rosita Waydelich for this special occasion, and we extend our sincere thanks to all those who joined us in marking this memorable moment.

Originally from Strasbourg, the artist is deeply rooted in Alsatian culture, just like CroisiEurope. The choice of name for the vessel reflects a natural synergy between the artist and our company: a shared passion for Europe's landscapes and a desire to celebrate and showcase the richness of its heritage.

[NEW: OUR NEW POOLS]

This winter, our teams began an extensive refurbishment programme. To enhance your comfort on board, our ships are gradually replacing inflatable pools with elegant, fixed installations.

These new pools are equipped with an innovative hydraulic system, allowing them to be lowered when passing under low bridges, a technical achievement designed to combine seamless navigation with optimal comfort.

Already installed on board the MS Gil Eanes, this feature will soon be introduced across our three 4-anchor ships sailing the Douro, as well as on the MS La Belle de Cadix and the MV La Belle de l'Adriatique.
